The cinema of the 1980s reflects an era of social change and contradiction, in which the counterculture, stoners and young delinquents (quinquis) gave cannabis a leading role in the seventh art.

In 2017, a group of committed women came together with the aim of creating something bigger than themselves: a space where women could connect, grow and share their experience within the cannabis industry.

We will explore the latest initiatives and debates surrounding cannabis regulation in Spain and their connection with European trends. A comprehensive review of the current landscape and of possible progress towards fairer and more sustainable models.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, European capital investment financed the exploitation of orchid reserves in South America. Violence against farming communities in the Sierra Madre del Sur crystallises as a monopolistic practice in the techno-industrial standardisation of the traceability of stable native varieties/landraces.

The talk will explore the potential of MDMA in medical, cultural and personal contexts, addressing its use in therapy, its impact on emotional connection and conscious sexuality, and the keys to informed and safe use, bringing together science, spirituality and harm reduction.

It is illusory to think that governments can prohibit drugs; at most, they can prohibit their safe use. We will analyse the continuum linking the prevention of the risks associated with cannabis and the prevention of the risks associated with prohibition. We will explore how cannabis use in CSCs and the critique of the use of police dogs redefine risks and rights.

The speakers will give a detailed overview of the last ten years of the Spanish Medicinal Cannabis Observatory (Observatorio Español de Cannabis Medicinal, OECM). They will share their perspective on the process of creating the Subcommittee (Subcomisión) and drafting the Royal Decree (Real Decreto), analysing the negotiations, the challenges faced and the current state of the legislative and scientific landscape in Spain.

In this talk we will explore the legal status and legal implications of the marketing of non-narcotic cannabis flowering tops. We will analyse the current legal interpretations, at both national and international level, that affect the marketing and use of these products. The discrepancies between the interpretation of the state regulatory body, the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios, AEMPS), and the rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union will be addressed.
